MONTERREY SEMINAR MAY 23-24, 2009

Last Thursday we took the plane to Monterrey, Mexico, where we were greeted by our host, Armando Cantú, and his students.

Imagine our surprise when we saw how wonderfully they welcomed us! During the whole weekend, the forty students present there impressed us with their generosity and enthusiastic training.

We respectfully thank Armando for having organised this seminar, for, taking into consideration the economic context and the hard life in Mexico, it takes a lot of courage and abnegation to organise so many seminars with high graded instructors, having as sole objective to give his students the best teachings possible and to reveal to them the Bujinkan community.

Congratulations to those who have been graded during the seminar! May this prepare you for your next trip to Japan!

Thank you for this wonderful weekend, for having spoiled us (thank you to Armando’s mom for all her delicious meals), for having taking us to “Cola de Caballo”, an amazing waterfall, and to the “Grutas de Garcia”, a cave situated 1,000 m, majestically decorated by stalactites and stalagmites. And thank you for all the evenings you offered us, some accompanied by mariachi, filled with happiness and fun and the joyful sound of Mexican music.

Thank you for this lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing our Mexican friends again at the end of September.
